Rescue Mission of Trenton Partners with Univ. of Pennsylvania for Ex-offender Entrepreneurship Program

"The Rescue Mission of Trenton and the University of Pennsylvania have partnered to run a 10-week entrepreneurship training program to help ex-offenders build and run their own businesses.

The program started earlier this month for nine clients of the Rescue Mission. The clients involved in the process are former convicts who are also receiving treatment in the Rescue Mission's drug and alcohol program.

'We are always looking for opportunities for our residential drug and alcohol clients to create a better environment or a better world to step out into when they make the transition into the real world,' said Barret Young, chief operating officer of the Rescue Mission."
