Applications Open for 2013 ARAMARK Building Community Health and Wellness Grant

ARAMARK Building Community Academy Grants will provide resources to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and capacity of community centers to meet their missions. Grants disbursed in 2013 will enable community centers to strengthen and scale effective practices in community health and wellness programs.

Three to five grants, between $15,000 and $25,000 each, will be awarded in 2013. Grants will be made to organizations that show effective, evidence-based programs with documented results. Grantees will participate in the Academy’s learning community by providing materials that can be used to deepen impact and increase knowledge around effective practice in the field.

Grants will be made to organizations currently operating community health and wellness programs. Programs may be directed at the family, neighborhood, or the broader community levels. For more information and resources on programs in these core issues areas, please visit the Academy Resource Library, or participate in an upcoming learning opportunity.
