Christie Administration Approves First-Of-Its-Kind Energy Storage Solicitation Awards
"TRENTON, N.J. - The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (Board) has approved the State’s first ever energy storage incentive commitments totaling $2.908 million for 13 proposed projects that will install energy storage systems integrated with customer-sited renewable energy generating facilities. The incentive commitments stem from the Board’s FY2015 Renewable Electric Storage Incentive Solicitation, a first-of-its-kind competitive solicitation to support the installation of renewable electric storage systems.
