Princeton Public Library Receives $100K Grant from Princeton University

"The Princeton Public Library’s Stewardship Fund has received a $100,000 donation from Princeton University, library officials announced today.,"as reported by Jon Offredo of The Times of Trenton.

"The Stewardship Fund, launched with a $1 million challenge grant from library supporter Betty Wold Johnson in 2012, is designed to establish an endowment that would renew and refresh the Sands Library Building, the library’s home on Witherspoon Street since 2004."

"So far the library has raised $670,000, including the university’s gift, to meet the matching challenge grant, said library executive director Leslie Burger."
