U.S October Unemployment Rate Dips as Hiring Broadens Across Sectors

The Unemployment rate of October dropped slightly to 5 percent as hiring across most major sectors of the economy hired new employees. The Labor Department stated that "real" unemployment rate, fell to 9.8 percent in October. These numbers are helping the Federal Reserve wrestle over its decision on whether it is time to lift its benchmark lending rate for the first time since 2006.
