Crawford Central Leaders Lay Out $12 Million Three-Year Capital Project Plan

Even without a state budget for the current school year, Crawford Central School District is moving forward by laying out a $12 million three-year capital project plan.

Superintendent Tom Washington told the school board it was being shown this plan for the district's future even though the state has yet to approve the 2015-16 budget that was due at the end of last June.

"We still want to go forward and have some discussion," Washington said.

Dave Dickson, director of buildings, grounds and transportation, presented the school board during its Monday meeting a list of 25 proposed projects totaling $11,865,610 that the school district hopes to accomplish over the next three school years through 2019.
