Tennessee Family Support Accepting Applications

"Orange Grove Center is now accepting applications for the Tennessee Family Support Program on a first-come, first-served basis to provide financial assistance to individuals with severe or developmental disabilities.

The Tennessee Family Support Program is a state-wide program funded by the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD). Orange Grove Center administers the program for District 3, which serves Bledsoe, Bradley, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, Polk, Rhea and Sequatchie counties.

Funding is available for services/supports including respite care, personal assistance, health care-related items, specialized equipment (e.g. communication devices and independent living aids), minor home repairs/modifications (e.g. wheelchair ramps), vehicle modifications, dental care, therapies, child/adult day care and other needs that are not covered by insurance or other resources."
