North Carolina Ranked 7th Most Business-Friendly State

The Pollina Corporate/American Economic Development Institute has ranked North Carolina as the 7th most business-friendly state in its Top Ten Pro-Business States Repot. The study is used by corporations to decide where to move future offices, so North Carolina might experience an influx of new businesses in the coming years. Governor Pat McCrory celebrated the ranking, saying “This study is one more example of how well North Carolina is valued by America’s business community. Our quality workforce, our reforms to reduce the tax burden on businesses and families, and our economic development tools all play a role in making North Carolina a state where people and businesses can grow and prosper."
