New Study Suggests Teacher Expectations Relate to Race

According to an education study, black teachers are 30% more likely to expect a black student to go to year college and 40% more likely to the believe the student will graduate high school. Considering the power of expectations, it is possible that these discrepancies contribute to the racial gap in both graduation and college admittance.
