The New Jersey State Council on the Arts voted to award grants totaling $15,811,107 in state and federal funding. The awards announced today will support nearly 800 arts organizations, programs, projects and artists in every county across the state.

The California Endowment has announced a five-year, $4 million grant to the D5 Coalition a group of national and regional organizations working to make organized philanthropy in the United States more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

Mobile Meals of Trenton/Ewing is a private, nonprofit organization that provides home-delivered meals, also known as meals on wheels, to homebound individuals in the Greater Trenton area.

The National Council of La Raza (NCLR)—the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States—works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans. Through its network of nearly 300 affiliated community-based organizations, NCLR reaches millions of Hispanics each year in 41 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. To achieve its mission, NCLR conducts applied research, policy analysis, and advocacy, providing a Latino perspective in five key areas—assets/investments, civil rights/immigration, education, employment and economic status, and health. In addition, it provides capacity-building assistance to its Affiliates who work at the state and local level to advance opportunities for individuals and families.
