Latest Recharge NY Power Allocations will Create 268 New Jobs Across New York

"Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced the New York Power Authority Board of Trustees has approved 14 low-cost power allocations to 12 businesses under the ReCharge NY program. These actions support 1,311 jobs, including the hiring for 268 new positions at companies throughout New York." , as reported by the NYS Governor's Website.

" 'ReCharge NY brings low cost power to local companies, enabling them to reinvest in their businesses and helping them grow and thrive in New York,' Governor Cuomo said. 'With hundreds of thousands of jobs supported under this discounted power program, ReCharge NY is helping to spur local economies, create jobs, and secure New York’s clean energy future for generations to come.' "

"The Governor’s Recharge NY program was launched in 2011 and is currently reducing electricity costs for nearly 750 businesses and not-for-profit organizations across the state. The program has boosted the state’s economy by retaining and creating jobs and sparking capital investment throughout New York."
